CAAU Youth Mentorship Program
Project Overview
The CAAU Youth Mentorship Program is an annual cohort-based training program designed for student leaders from Universities across Uganda, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become responsible, ethical, and effective leaders in their communities. The programme empowers these young leaders with key skills on effective communication, responsible leadership, good governance, human rights, integrity, personal branding, prevention of corruption strategies, project design and management, among other skills.
Through mentorship sessions, interactive discussions, community initiatives, and practical community projects, young participants are encouraged and nurtured to actively identify and respond to local challenges. The programme aims to foster a generation of empowered youth who champion transparency, accountability, social justice, civic participation, and sustainable community development.
